My '69 is a radio delete car, but I installed an AM/FM/CASSETTE 10 years ago.

I now want to put a Kenwood AM/FM/CD in the car but I think I would have to do some major sugery to the dash to make the DIN chassis radio fit.

Any suggestions?

Thanx.
Paul

If you didn't hack the dash for the old radio, I wouldn't do it now. I'd put the radio delete plate back in, and put the radio elsewhere. I'm putting mine in the glove box. Do a search...there was a ling thread on that subject a couple months ago.
Just ckick on search, and use "radio" or "radio installation" on the key word.

Companaies like Custom Autosound make AM/FM CD Changers that fit in the normal dash opening. They use Kenwood, among others, to begin with and modify the chassis to still have the stock 2 knob setup.

Don't cut up the original dash if you can help it! Pretty exensive to replace if you want to put it back to stock.

Just my .02
