I'm looking at a 69 Z28 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-CAMARO-Z28-REAL-X77-ROTISSERIE-RESTORATION-/261220020620?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3cd1ed318c

The VIN and trim tag seem out of sequence to me. The TT claims 4th week of Dec and a VIN of N570151 seems to be January '69. Is this a real trim tag? Also the X77 does not include the quarter trim or wheel surround trim, rear bumperettes are incorrect, and I think the rear spoiler would be narrower. It's a nice car but I'm leary of the VIN, tag, and amount of new sheet-metal. Thanks, Fred

That tag is fine for the time build of 12D. The tag is not a fake IMO. Looks like it has been off the car though. Other things have been added when it was restored.
Would have to see the stampings to verify, but the way its worded in the ad, I suspect the engine and trans are not original. The rear axle is said to be original.
Things would have to be inspected and verified.
