When my car was on the road before i started the resto my rear rubber line was constricted and the rear brakes would smoke. Car had 500 hp so i didnt notice the drag lol
I think I would notice it on here, it has about 275hp or so.
Brakes don't smoke or anything, just smell.

I had this issue on my 02 chevy truck and they were HOT which is what makes this confusing.

If you pull the drums, are here any "witness" marks/rub spots on the shoes....including the sides?

If so on the shoe face itself, I would hit it with some emery cloth or even some sandpaper if it has sings of glazing

also confirm your parking brake is not too tight

...and are you sure the source of smell is from rears??

I will confirm parking break(it might be a little tight)

As for smell 100 percent the rears. No smell at the front.

I will hopefully work on it some next weekend as I have to build a fence this weekend. If all goes well I might get to it Monday night.
