I'm in the process of installing the rear disc brakes, of a Baer Serious Street setup, in my 69 Camaro. According to the instructions, the rotor and caliper housing must have a minimum of 0.030 inch to a max of 0.090 inches of clearance. Baer recommends using shims between the "intermediate" bracket and caliper to get the correct clearance. Has anyone done this? Where can I get these caliper alignment shims? Thanks.

Washers! Just mock it up and see what you need??

May need heavy/thick ones, regular thickness and even a couple of thinner body washers until you come up with a stack like you need......

I had to do this to the 4 flange bolts instead if putting them between the brackets is all..

Thanks for the tip. I was just concerned that the washers may be too thick. Was there a reason why you put the washers on the 4-flange bolts instead of between the bracket and caliper mount?
