well this is quite strange. I checked for a third time, it still says PW, and the casing is not smooth. it has the inverted "V". Also, I think it's the original because the mono's are still on there and they look like they haven't been touched in a good 30 years. Anyone other ideas? This is getting weird. 10 bolt with inverted "v" "PW O920G"
If you are just trying to find out the ratio, you can count the revolutions of the driveshaft. If it's an open rear (tires turn in opposite directions when spun with car raised) jack ONE rear tire off the ground, put the tranny in neutral and spin the tire exactly TWO revolutions. The number of revolutions the shaft makes is your gear ratio. 2 3/4 turns=2.73 3 and a "hair" turns=3.08 3 1/4 turns=3.23 etc.
I agree with Kurt on this. I saw it in the Camaro Untold Secrets web site. It's like the QL code 12 bolt 3.31 non posi I found. Not listed anywhere but was listed at that web site as a 67. These were for the Canadian cars I believe. 10 bolt 2.73 or 3.08.
