The original interior on my 67 is still in good shape except for the drivers seat. The foam and stuff inside the seat is pretty shredded and the seat is flattened. (151,000 miles and 34 years will do that!
)

I've got a new set of original style upholstry to install but I'm wondering about the springs and cushions inside. I've seen foams for sale that are shaped just like the seats, is that the best way to go? What's really inside these things anyway.

Thanks,

If the springs are broken they are easily fixed by a good upholsterer. The seat foam available from Ricks I've used and it was great. I paid 140.00 to have both front buckets redone with the new foam and had the drivers seat springs fixed.
