I have ask this question before buy got no opinions, so now I am asking once more.
I need to drop my rear just a little (1/2" - 3/4"), and I need to know if I can remove 1 of the 5 Springs in the rear, and if so, which one?
I put a 1" lowering block in it but I am going to remove it because it seems you can't get the U bolts tight enough. The mount plates just tend to bend up and never really firms up.
Note:
Car is for street use only, no hot rod.

My car had aftermarket 5 leaf springs when I bought it and it sat way too high. As I remember I ended up removing 2 springs. I think I removed 1 long and 1 short leaf.

Sorry for the vaugness in my answer, I did this about 20 years ago and have since gone with Calvert split mono's.

I removed the slapper bar spring from the hothckis lowering leaf set and reduced some serious lap times in autocross. It also gained a more compfortable ride.
