Not familiar with later model Camaros. Can cylinder heads be removed from a 2001 with a v6 with out removing engine?

I would imagine they could. Everything that needs to come off to get to them is on top so just pulling the intake and a few of the accessories should give you access to them. Is it OHV or OHC?

Anybody else? I do not want to commit to this repair if it requires engine removal. It will take up too much time and shop space. Not my car. A friend of the boss. I know old domestic stuff and new Japanese stuff but, not turn of the century GM.
