i want to replace current alternator with chrome one have 2 questions
1- how do i find out the size of the current one, should i get same or upgraded
2- there is one connection on back of it, does that just pop out and go into new one?
1. There is a stamped number on the case next to the adjusting bolt telling the max amperage of the alt, ie, 37A = 37 amps, 55A = 55 amps, etc.
2. Yes, 10DN alternators, externally regulated, and the two-wire connector terminals are configured as shown, [ll], will be a direct plug-in.
Just release the lock feature by pressing and holding the lock latch, and pull the connector body straight out from the case.
Match the key of the connector to the alt and push firmly untill a 'snap' is heard of the lock latch.
