As I look for parts to buy over winter, what is the right number alternator for my 69 camaro? Its Oct. build date of 68 with 350V8 and A/C.??
I currently have a 1102439 55amp unit but pretty sure its not correct number.

Thanks, but thats where Im concerned, I see alot of 37amps alt's but not sure thats enough to run the A/C and lights, engine etc. Ive heard the 37 was for standard, but might be 55amp for a/c ??
