I have these heads that instead of having the double hump, they hace right angles. can someone exlain what this means? is it a high performance thing?

"Right angle" is mostly refering to the casting symbol on the ends of the heads. (looks like a ramp) Mine are "041" castings. Take valve cover off and check the numbers.

Right angle heads are known somewhat to be one of the better ones at the time for performance. Modern new design heads are much better.

If I remember right, 64cc chambers, small valves. Decent flow rates for a factory head.
