After reading the other thread I started regarding the best suppliers for replacement rubber parts I have decided to go with Metro products.

This has raised a couple of questions, Firstly they sell rubber pads for the front coil spring ends, one either end, Are these any advantage ?

My Camaro did not have anything between the lower arm and coil spring but that might have been because it all rotted off ! Should I put them back on when I put the front back together ?

Secondly, They offer two different rear 1/4 glass rubbers, I assume these are the ones that press into the chrome strip that rides up and down with the glass? the numbers are:

VS-3-Q "with steel insert" and VS-3-QX without steel insert.

Again, I have no idea what I should fit because mine were missing.

So, experts, do I put rubber pads at the end of the coil springs and do I go for steel or non steel 1/4 glass seals ?

Camaro's did not come with rubber on the coil springs. I do not see any advantage to using them.

The quarter window vertical molding rubbers had steel inserts originally.
