Hi All, had a quick question..went down to the shop and fired the motor for the first time today. Anyway the guy working on it fired it up and ran it for about 30 sec but he didn't have the plug wires on the drivers side on....I noticed it and we shut it down. (Funny part is it sounded pretty good on 4 cyl that is why I didn't catch it instantly). We put the wires on and broke the motor in....all seems fine. Anyway could that have hurt anything?

If it is an electronic ignition, not having plugs hooked up is pretty hard on the module. If it's breaker points, then there is no harm in running with plugs off for that short amount of time.

Your're also washing down the cylinder walls with gasoline when you are running without the plugs connected. If you do it long enough, the engine will seize.
