I'm considering adding the left and right rear spark plug wire stands to an otherwise completely assembled engine. I would have to remove the back two intake manifold bolts on the left side and one bolt on the right side to do this. Is there a risk of breaking the seal of the gaskets at the intake ports if I do this? It is a stock small block cast iron intake manifold on stock cast iron heads.

No problem. Just do it with the engine cold and 1 side at a time.

Done it Twice now, no problem

Make sure the engine is cold and re-torque to specs. You'll be fine!
