Hi guys, I've been coming to TeamCamaro for some time and would like to
share with you my Van Nuys built 1969 Camaro. Built in the first week of
May (05A) this car has the black houndstooth interior (713) and the code 57
Fathom Green w/black vinyl top. The car has the D90 stripes (painted fenders
and decals on doors). Although the original drive train is long gone it has a
period dated 350 (#618 block) and an M20 transmission backed up by a BS
coded (3.31 gears) 12 bolt posi. I'd would like to post photos but trying to
attach them to this threads isn't working. I apologize for that :frown2:

Hi Sal.
I believe you need a number of posts before pics can be attached. IMO that color combo is beautiful.
My '68 RS/SS 350 4 spd also has the BS posi 12 bolt rear. I'm curious as to how you find driving around town with the 3:31 gears. With my car it seams like I have to cruise around my towns streets mostly in 3rd gear. Those gears are great on the highways but I hardly ever cruise around town in 4th.

Hey Sal - Welcome aboard TC.

Correct Ray - Ten post until any new free member can post "off-site" links in threads to prevent the off-shore spammers and bots. Paying aka supporting members can upload photos in their posts immediately. Posts in the test drive section count wink wink.

Looking forward to seeing your ride Sal.

Ray I honestly can say that I have no issues driving around anywhere with the 3.31 gears.

I've been told that possibly the M20 has something to do with it, but I'm no expert. :grin2:
Hope the link I've provided below helps in letting you guys see my ride. Enjoy.

Welcome Sal, although the noted link did not work for me.

Could also send a couple of pics to another member to have them posted here.

Ps: love the M20 although don't currently have one.

I think you are correct. I've had someone here say that my M21 is the problem. When I got my car the previous owner told me the original Muncie case was cracked and they replaced it with a new AutoGear case. More than likely, they used M21 internals. The spline gear has the single line thru it.

Hi Charlie, I've been trying to post pictures of my Camaro
thru imgur with zero luck. There must be an easier way--
I've uploaded 15 photos of my car and still nothing. I may
need to try something different. I apologize gentlemen for
the inconvenience.

Welcome Sal. You can also start your "Garage" and post a pic in there. I think you can post more than one, but I don't want to say that and it be wrong.

Very nice! How do you like the reproduction shocks? I am thinking about getting those for my car down the road some time.
