This is my car, still under construction. 468 BB 69 Camaro, 75% complete. I installed a Super Sniper EFI and wired. Car starts and runs (not drive-able yet). Last week I found the O2 sensor hot as heck while the car sat for a week. I contacted Holley Tech and the response got was I must have my 12v wiring wrong. I was pretty sure I had it right. Today, I double checked the wiring.
I have my 12v constant routed directly to the battery as well as the constant ground. I installed an AAW wiring harness during the restoration and connected my 12v Ignition the the proper "pink" ignition wire. With the key OFF, there is no voltage to the 12v ignition "pink" wire (as should be). With key ON, I get my 12v at the "pink" wire. This was checked at the EFI connector. While the car is sitting, the O2 sensor heats up, KEY OFF. If I disconnect the 12v at the battery, the O2 sensor will cool off. If I reconnect the 12v at the battery, the O2 sensor will again heat up. This is with the key OFF.
What have I done wrong? any ideas?
