OK I've checked with many different sources, (Engine builder, Books, Race guys, and car nuts) The conclusion is the same

Engine builder said,
" Go with the steel crank"

Books say,
"Forged steel is much stronger the nodular cast iron, and is usually found in only racing engines. Big-block Chevys are an exception to this rule. Only the lowest horsepower versions use nodular-iron cranks. These engines are only the two-barrel 265HP 396, available only in 1969".

Race guys say,
"Steel crank!"

Car nuts say,
"Steel all the way"

So there it is. If there is anything else anyone can add, please do, I welcome your opinion
Thanks to all
