The steering unit that mount on the frame looks to be one that is power steering. It has 2 port on it. I don't think this car had p/s! the part # on the gearbox is 5691676. The assembly book shows 7807761 but the parts book show a different #. I have another one with part # 5679142 on it. It looks like a manual steering gear box. should or could i use this one and what did it come off of?

That is the casting number, not a lot of help identifying the box. Maybe the general year, that's it.
The second number may be a part number but the boxes dont have part numbers on them.
If the manual box fits, use it.
The manual pitman arm has a smaller hole size for the smaller manual box shaft.
