Went to install a wood wheel and the spring shaft/horn spring is at 2 O'clock instead of 10 O'clock. The main wheel attachment shaft "mark" is correct a 12 O'clock. Never had this before. Question how to correct this without screwing up the steering and alignment?

can you just drill a hole at the 10 o'clock position on the steering wheel???

FWIW my Grant wheel is at 10 o'clock for horn spring

The plastic piece can simply be rotated into the correct position

Yes, steering wheel lock plate retainer removal tool.

The hole in my aftermarket wood wheel on my firebird was also at 2:00. It was on the car when I bought it and the signals did not cancel properly. I drilled a new hole in the wheel. Signals work perfectly.
