I have a set of Goodyear Speedway E70 15 tires on my original YH wheels, and was wondering if any TC members would comment on the best way to store them indefinately.
Should they be inflated or deflated?
I have them stored off the ground in individual plastic bags, but was concerned about deteriation of the sidewalls etc.

Thanks in Advance.

Probably the best to keep them inflated, say 15-20 psi. Just to keep them round and beads seated.

I use dark trash bags for my slicks, twistem and all, powder down the tire with talc powder, and store the tires in the spare bedroom.

Dark bags to prevent UV rays from attacking the rubber. Talc powder to prevent dry-rotting. Spare bedroom to keep tires at a constant temp & humidity.

Another item you might look into, kind of far fetched, but works very well, look for rental space of a deep freeze and freeze the tires, temp being -40*F/C.
