I'm looking at buying a certain local super t-10 but I am a bit confused as to the trans ratios. The input shaft has NO grooves. The tailhousing # is 13-04-066-905. The main case has # 71-86025. Underneath this is 7196. Am I missing something? The seller says that he thinks the trans has a 2.88 first gear. Not sure though. Any ideas?

Every ST-10 I've looked at that didn't have any id grooves on the input turned out to be a 3.42Z ratio. Open the side cover and count the teeth on the input gear, if it has 17 teeth its a 3.42Z... Crash

Damn, I was hoping for a 2.88 first trans. I'll take a look at the trans tomorrow. Thanks for the news.
