Air shocks were the ticket in the 70’s; and necessary for those deep dish Crager S/S or Keystone Classics and big ole G60 BFG tires on the back with F75 or F78 on the front.

Many, many years ago, as a hot rod high school kid, I went for a wild ride when my single throttle return spring broke. Didn’t hit anything but a few seconds of terror in traffic was a wonderful teacher. Now, this often overlooked item is one of my pet peeves. And I see the defect even on high dollar, talented build cars. The single throttle return spring is a disaster waiting to happen. Please look into a proper dual spring set up.
CRG keeps a master database of 1st Gen cars. It's not a public database. Sort of a registry of all known cars, so that we/they can track originality and such. Occasionally, a new for-sale car pops up as a rare car only to find that 17 years ago, it was a vanilla L6 car.
