Trying to finish up the install of my stroker and have run into an issue with the temperature sending unit bulb ( mechanical gauge ) bottoming out in the head. I can come up with a real ugly use of a .75 pipe thread and coupling to extend out away from the head, but... don't want to make the side of my head look like a steamfitters work around. Are they any slick solutions. Thought about custome machining and aluminum piece but before I do I thought somebody was bound to have dealt with a similair issue. Thanks.

Do one of two choices: 1. Use a 3/4 FPT to 3/4 MPT bushing, or, 2. get an electric gauge.

If it bottoms out on the head, it sure is not going to fit up on the intake crossover.
