i have an 88 camaro and it said that the throttle position sensor had low signal voltage. I got out my voltmeter and tested it and i was only getting .42 volts at idle. I loosened up the screws and turned the sensor until i got to .5 volts at idle and i tightened them and tested at wide open throttle and got 4.99 volts. did i perform this procedure right??? Another thing off of the subject, my computer says that my o2 sensor is getting lean exhaust, and sometimes it com es on and tells me that the signal voltage stays low after 2 minutes of engine idle. any help would be appreciated

Good adjustment on the TPS.

If its the original O2 sensor, you may want to replace it, can't hurt.

Might try disconnecting the ECM power, both of them, if not the battery cable, to erase memory and try again.

thank you for the advice, i will go out right now and erase the memory and check out the O2 sensor. It probably needs to be replaced because i have owned it forever and never did it. Thank you again!
