I posed this question in the MSD thread as well...I have a '68 Camaro w/ MSD 6AL ignition and Jegs Red Hot HEI Coil and distributor. My OER tic toc tach I thought was working up until I ran my car on a dyno. The tach won't go above 2000 rpm.

Is this something an MSD filter can fix?

Thanks for the help.

the only thing I can think of is to talk to MSD and the a nothere one is talk to Carl Casanova http://www.geocities.com/casanoc/ he says ( Tic-Tock-Tach that has been repaired by North Hollywood Speedometer and Clock. The tach now has a modern VDO movement and is very fast and accurate. The clock is also new, with a quartz movement that keeps excellent time. No changes to the wiring harness are required, just plug it in )
