Thanks! Your $5 is in the mail...:secret:

Wish they'd show all 3 pics together for these. I, personally, think my engine bay is the best part of the car.

I wondered how George was getting more votes than me:D......You can click on the photo and bring up the other views.....With that extra space George has in his engine bay he has room for more chrome...:beers:

Eventually it'll either get a turbo or an LS.

Still up in the air on which way to go. One way is far more interesting than the other but the other is far more reliable.

I've heard that a built 250 can beat a 327 but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. She won't snap your neck back yet but she'll hold you in your seat now. From what I've read online it should be around 250hp, 270 ft-lbs with the modifications I have now. Much better than when I bought the car and I was getting smoked by Toyota Yari's... Had a whopping 155hp/190 ft-lbs stock. First time I drove it after the cam I "accidentally" left a little strip of rubber coming out of my alleyway. Thought the trans was slipping because I'd never felt that before in this car!

In the meantime I need to pull the motor and fix my oil pan. It's dented and I think it's causing some interference internally because I'm hearing a slight knock. Going to try heavier oil in the short term to see if it's interference or a cam bearing. I figure if the oil lessens it the problem is a cam bearing. If it doesn't change anything it's the dented oil pan.

Wish there was an easier way to get some clearance without pulling the engine.

Yes as a general FYI - If you click on the voting single picture you get the nomination photos and description in a new tab/window. :)
