guys ,anybody know the deal with TR marked bolts ,where the on special engines or just a trade marked bolt that GM used that day of assembly ,thanks for any info ,thanks to the greatest web site on the internet ,CAMAROS.NET

Rich, I'm no expert but I believe they were used often and for different applications. I have four of them which mounts my M20 to the 621 bellhousing.

thanks 396 X66 lemans,i have gathered a few in diff. sizes and lenths ,but i think the 4 for the 69 long big block water pump is the hardest to find ,thanks

GM built 25,000+ cars and trucks every day in the 60's, and every fastener part number had at least three different suppliers, to supply the needed volume and avoid production interruptions; the "TR" headmark identified the Towne-Robinson Fastener Corporation, one of dozens of primary fastener suppliers to GM. GM didn't make any of their own fasteners.
