Well I finally started my mine and my son's replica Trans-Am racecar. I started with a shell that should have been scraped, thats why it's becoming a racecar. Thanks to Pozzi and Pdq67 and all you guys that answered all my questions and all others to follow. Wish I could post some pics but my digicam bit it. More to follow. I hope its optomistic news. Thanks, Brent

That is great to hear! When I re-do my '68 (for the second time) I plan on going for a more vintage trans-am type of build. I don't care about creature comforts... just going fast and lookin' good. ;)

Borrow a friend's camera and get some pics!

Thanks, I first need to straighten up the car and get it square since it was in a major accident. Yesterday I pulled out the dash and firewall that was crushed pretty badly.Luckily I save all the parts from a Nova I parted out. Amazing all those parts interchange so well. Im even going to use the door shells from the Nova. If you cut off the window frames they actually fit into the camaro door hole. They need new skins but it's cheaper than new doors. you couldn't use them with a street car since the window regulators arent the same but in this car they'll work just fine. Hopefully I can get the camera fixed for some pics.
