Jim

Does the mount put the tranny tail higher or lower or are they the same height or are the two bolt holes for the mount are just different
Sorry! Should have read the post a little closer. Most people ask about standard and automatic. There is no difference between big block and small block Standard transmission support braces. Same part number 1967 #3870182 1968-69 #3895830

Got this backwards. The support, frame to frame IS the same #3899006 The mount for 67 is #3870182 68-69 is #3895830
Jim I have a parts book from D&R parts and they show two different parts for a bb 4 speed and sb 4 speed cross member I'm not talking about the rubber mount I'm talking about the steel plate that bolts underneath the tranny frame to frame. One side of the bolts is sloted and the other side is not. Does the slotted side go on the drivers side frame or passengers side If they are the same mounts the two bolt holes for the rubber mounts do not line up

I have checked my GM parts book and It says the support (Big steel brace) is the same part number for small and big block # 3899006 The mount (rubber and steel) for 67 is #3870182 for 68 - 69 is 3895830 small and big block. I checked my Rick's First generation catalog and it lists two different support braces (Big steel brace) for 67-69.
My GM parts book is the May 81 version? Don't know what to tell you?
