I'm puzzled as to why my turn signal does not flash when activated. All the right lights come on (front & rear) when the switch is turned on so there does not appear to be any burned out bulbs and I replaced the flasher unit with a new one. This did not cure the problem. I can use the turn signal, albeit manually by moving the stalk back-and-forth but this is kind of a pain. It just starting doing this about a week ago. What else can I do? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you replaced the wrong flasher. If you replaced the one in the fuse box, that isn't going to do the trick. The fuse box "flasher can" is for the 4-way hazards. The "flasher can" you want is IN the dash above the steering column or near the radio(they like to move around). Look for a little plastic or metal can with wires (usually purple and pink) plugged into it. Bottom line is, check that flasher IN the dash.

Coppertop, thanks for the advice. I did not realize there were two flasher cans. I'll give it a try.
