I have seen 2 types of fuel gauges in Summit and on the Autometer site. There is an electric fuel gauge and one that uses my stock (I assume) fuel gauge hardware. Which is the best? And for that matter what is better mechanical or electric gauges?
I would use the gauge that uses the stock sending unit. The gauges that require aftermarket sending units are a real hassle, to get the correct one you need to know the depth of the tank and if it is a left of right handed pickup. If your stock sender works use it, you will be glad you did.
