I am building a big inch small Block for my 69 Ragtop, and I want to retain my GM fined valve covers.Someone was talking about spacers not big thick gaskets but aluminum Spacers, Years ago Moroso made them but now they don't list them.If anyone knows where I can get these new or used that would be great.I'm using Jesel Shaft rockers on Victor Jr aluminum heads.

Chevy makes a spacer to adapt the center bolt valve covers to the older heads.
I have a friend who used them as spacers to clear Norris roller rockers with polly locks on his 69 Z/28 valve covers with the drippers cast inside.

I was facing this prob as well, after buying the s/r torquer heads I noticed that they were a little taller than stock. I wanted to use stock Z28 valve covers and roller rockers but was afraid that the drip rails would intifere. But it worked
