Getting the old stuff off is not fun. Use a good adhesive remover to get the glue off. The toughest part of the installation is the vent window rubber. You need to take the vent window assembly out to replace it. This means removing door panels and messing with the internal door and window parts. Getting the window adjustments right is a chore. The rest of the job is fairly easy. Do the door top window channels when you remove the vent window. The are easier to do when the windows are dropped. Soffseal has some of the better weatherstripping. Many catalog dealers use their product. Check out this site, it has some good tips as well. http://soffseal.com/
