I am looking at a 68 camaro that needs some minor restoration and was wondering what a ballpark figure on the value was? The 68 has hide-away headlights, but I am no sure it is a true RS. Vaccum system is gone. It has the original 327 motor,373 gears and a 350 turbo transmission. It has the chrome drip edges on the doors. The car is 90% original. The exceptions being a high-rise intake and new 4 barrel carb. and hooker headers. It has very little rust(rockers and small spot on door). The car runs really good. The car can be driven. Needs front-end work and brake work. A high and low price figure would be great. Thanks guys!

I'd say $4500 max. That's what I could get a good decent camaro in Denver for. It's not actually 90% original though if it has a high rise intake TH350 tranny and headers and new carb. Are you getting the original stuff too? I would bet that the engines been rebuilt so that's another consideration.

Also go get a numbers book and write down the numbers on the car to see the production dates and what color it was etc. Getting the numbers is the only was to see if it really was a RS. If it's just a base model with RS headlights it's probly only good for a daily driver. Not worth much if you restore it. But I drive a base 67 everyday and even on mild snow days. Also make sure you get AC that's the only I wish I had on mine. But soon I'll be putting TPI on it. Enjoy
