I have just put 15X8 rallys on my '67 235/60/15s. I have 2' drop spindles in the front, and the front driver side is rubbing, and its screaming like a rabbit when I slow down. If i don't end up going back to the stock spindles, what is the smallest tire I can run on the front? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to Team Camaro David!

Looking at manufacturers' data, it looks like 225 60 15 is the smallest size "recommended" for an 8 inch rim. http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs/radial-t-a/12.html

I don't think a 10 mm width change (about the width of your pinkie) is going to help much. We have a thread here about problems with drop spindles: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=132682

You're most likely going to have to try a spacer, narrower wheel with less backspace, or better yet get rid of the drop spindles altogether.

I have 205/60/15's on the front of my 69 with 15x8 rallys. They do look small but they were the right price......free....... off of a friends car. stock spindles but they have never rubbed.
