I JUST GOT MY CAR STARTED FOR THE FIRST TIME!! WOO-HOO!! I AM RESTORING A PREVIOUS BUCKET OF *%@%& '70 CAMARO. IT HASN'T RAN SINCE I PICKED IT UP. I FIRED IT UP AND IT RUNS GREAT- EXCEPT FOR 1 THING. WHEN THE CAR STARTS RUNNING THE POWER STEERING GEAR STARTS LEAKING LIKE CRAZY FROM THE TOP COVER,(THE COVER WITH 4 OUTER BOLTS AND 1 ADJUSTMENT BOLT IN THE CENTER). DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHY? I TALKED TO THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND HE ASSURES ME IT DID NOT LEAK WHEN THE CAR WAS TAKEN OUT OF COMMISSION. THIS JUST HAPPENED TODAY,(THE FIRST DAY IT RAN) SO IF ANYONE HAS SOME STEPS TO WALK ME THROUGH I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.
YOUR F-BODY BRO,
STEVE

Are you running the stock ps pump and pulley(size)? Could the gasket be dry-rotted?
