It looks like the wire from the Parking Brake switch goes behind the fuse panel.
Does it go directly into the back of the panel?? or is it part of a wire harness?

The wire broke at the switch on my 69 Camaro and there isn't any wire left on the switch to re-attach or solder it. So it looks like I will need to buy a new switch.

It should have a male pin connector that plugs into the back of the switch. You can get them from radio shack. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and see if it will pull out. Then take it to radio shack or maybe a automotive parts house to compare it to what you need.

Should be the same type connector that goes on the door switches.

Oh... OK, thanks.

I just assumed that the wire was soldered on to the end of the switch.

Might as well remove the broken terminal end from inside the switch; you may be able to just re-solder, or use it when you go looking or a new one.
