A car buddy of mine has a original paint 69 Camaro non SS small block, it is White, red guts, Red hocky stripe, the stripe is solid in front of the fender marker because there is no engine CI badge.
Has far as I know stripes were a stand alone option that could be added to any base car. Later today I will see if I can get a picture from him.

I don't know about '69 but one issue of Camaro Performers has a photo of a beautiful '68 vert with a red stripe and red interior. It looks like a great combination. Didn't the '69 pace cars have orange stripes ?

So I guess after all that I'd have to answer your question with an "I don't know" :clonk:

Black or white stripes only. Pacecars are the exception.

Jean-Claude Killy (1968 Olympic's 3 time gold skier) did '69 Camaro ads. His car was a white '69 RSSS ragtop with red interior and a black stripe. The combo actually looks really good...
