i have 215/70/14 radial TA's on my 69 Camaro. Was gonna go to 225/70/14 for just a bit better look. someone said his rub, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

What was stock? I have the same question with my 14s.

They may rub, they may not, it depends upon your backspacing. Turn the wheel to lock in the front and check to see how much clearance you have. Keep in mind that the 225 will be a larger diameter as well.

Thanks, 195/70/14 was stock. I better stay with the 215's instead of spending the money on tires that are going to rub

Why not pick up a set of 15" wheels/tires? They can be had probably cheaper than the new tires will be with mounting/balancing.

I'd got a set of 15" rally's I'll be selling when my new wheels get here and will probably take 400 for them with tires, rings, etc.

I'm not willing to ship them and you're not anywhere near local, but there are deals out there.
