H-dog, Sorry to hear you drilled them out. I just used a punch set and bent the little tabs kinda straight on all the crimps (yes, kinda tedious) The used a wedge (old chisel) to pry each crimp apart. You then have to unsolder the motor wires to get the motor off, clean, fix, lube everthing. Put the halves together and hold it with clamps, test it, make SURE it works on both speeds AND park. Then use the punch again to bend the tabs back. Then use a small hammer and dolly to make the tabs flat and pretty again, paint and install. Just DON'T forget to put the copper ground strap back in and make sure you scrape the paint off of the copper straps mating area. Else you will not get a good ground and the park won't work.
I figure you could get a couple of remove times before the little tabs fatigue too much and break. Then I would drill new holes near old large holes and use pop rivets.
Luck, Kevin
