Im down to a few last wiring issues.
Any tips on how to remove the single wire from the parking brake switch? Id rather remove the wire and cleanup the switch, as it is getting 12v and when i run a ground directly to the contact, it illuminates as designed. The brake itsrlf has a good ground si i thinl it is oxidation on the switch.
I just cant get the wire out and really wiuld prefer not to cut it omly to learn its the actual terminal end of the wire.
It looks like a pin switch male terminal, because i dont see a release.
THANKS

I'm going to call a foul as to answering your own question. JK

Like anything else not knowing how things are put together you have wonder what is required to break things back apart. What might have been easily plugged together years ago, might be a pain later to take back apart.

You bet jim. Fortunately, im a decent reverse engineer.
All is well, and after the cleaning and double checking ground, the instrument lamp for the brake is functioning again.
However, knowing that a replacement is cheap and the connector can pop out to install it - i may just pick one up. I hate splicing and was just trying to keep the wire intact. Now on to the digitails front lamps for a new issue...
