Tom:
The only difference between the engine wire harness for a big block versus a small block with gauges is the length of the temp sending wire. The big block is 30' long and the sb is 26 1/2". There is a company called AMH Electric out in California that makes harness for D&R in Illinois. Their phone number is 562-926-9552. Great Tech support. I would put in the bb harness just in case.
The light harness is a different matter. If you decide to put in the RS light package, that harness is completly different than your standard light harness, more connections for the headlight door motors, the light switch to open and close them, ground wires etc etc. Give AMH a call!!!!!!!!
Good luck!!!!!
