At times my 68 just wont turn on
. It cranks but thats about it. I have checked the spark plugs for spark, seen if the spark plugs are wet with gas, tightened my distributor, checked my alternator, checked out the wiring and still nothing, what else can I do?

Check with timing light while cranking to see if firing at the right time?
An extra pump of the gas pedal to richen the mixrture? Close/adjust the choke plate?
Starting ignition voltage while cranking? Comes from the R terminal of the starter solenoid if OE type starter.
Could be a faulty ignition switch. No ignition voltage in IGN position.
If points distributor, is there a .019 inch point gap, or 30*-32* of dwell if measured with dwell meter while cranking?
