Wow, besides the huge white ring outside of the black edge circle there are many other obvious differences between a repop and the real thing when you see them side by side. Amazing that the repop market can't even duplicate something as simple as a sticker.

Dale, my 05C build 67 coupe originally came with a 230 HP 6-cylinder motor with automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with 308 gears. The sticker on my glove box door looks exactly like the one (on the left!) posted by deejaygee.

Mark,
I was laughing at your comments. You are right. That is pretty funny. Someone else should remake these and make them look better.

I have not revisited this thread since it appeared that not that many people were interested in this. I also will post a picture of my label. I am trying to find what the correlation between the label and the "Car" is. I believe there is one. Maybe there already is a tread on this (I have not found it). Are there any GM notes regarding this?? That is what I am trying to find out.

Also, as many of you already know, some of the labels for the cars are not made??
Why is this?? It is a dumb piece of paper. You would think that whoever is making these would make all of them?? I am remaking my own. I will show it to you guys when (if) I finish it.

THANK YOU ALL THAT HAVE POSTED!!! IF YOU CAN, POST A PICTURE OF YOUR LABEL IF IT IS DIFFERENT THAT ABOVE.

I am working on restoring an EXACT Original. Am not sure why the parts houses can not do that. I Keep working on it a little at a time. You can see my progress so far.
Does anyone know what the G, H, R, etc. that are in the middle of the different labels mean??

These letters are from the repo's and not accurate.
Would still like to get more label info on Original cars with Original Labels.
Thank you all that have posted so far.

My car is a SS350 with build date of Jan. 67 and it had a 3917574 decal with a H in the bowtie. I ordered a 3917574 decal from NPD and it had a N in the bowtie. Were the N came from I don't know but when I conplaned NPD said all of their decals had a N on them. Since I am trying to make my car original I want that H decal because that is one more detail to prove it is a true SS.

I was able to find an H decal and compared it to the one I received from NPD today. The one I received today (N) is the left and the correct decal (H) is on the right. Notice they both have the same part number. I can't understand why they changed the letter in the bowtie but that screws it up for the guys that want a correct decal.

I call Harmons today and ask if their glove box sticker had the correct letter (H) on it and it has. It is to bad that some of the suppliers don't know they are selling incorrect products thinking they are. Even when their catolog list this glove box sticker as a H sticker they continue to sell the shicker with a N on it. Like I said before this is one more way to document your SS car.
