good evening,

i have a 67 camaro coupe non original 327 8 cyl, with THC 350 turbo transmission from summit, i purchased a center console from flea bay out of a 68 camaro and i am wondering if i could also replace the shifter with that out of a 68 for my 67 camaro which curren tly has an after market B&M ball shifter with a simply square box, no console etc..

i relaize the 68 shifter style came after 67 but i like it better than the after market ones that seem prttey cheep please let me know thanx god bless

You certainly can. Use the console and shifter loose to determine where it will fit. The shifter moves the shift plate on the console lens for showing gear selected.

So, placement of one will place the other one. Mark the holes and drill accordingly. You can use thru bolts with a nut or use Riv-Nuts, as the OEM did. Set up your wire harness for neutrl safety switch and back-up lights.

Assembly manual shows alot on installation.
