White Letters In or Out ??

Depends on what look you like. If you like the 70's - 80's look put the white letters out. If you like a more modern look no white letters or turn them in. To each their own. The car pictured can go either way, since it's is stock appearing and has rally wheels.

The best thing to do is have one or two tire/s mounted with the letters out and put it on the car, compare. See what you like best.

You will like them out at first but then they will get old.
If you use any kind of tire shine no matter how clean you keep your car they will turn brown, and going down the road your tires will look like the ones on the brady bunch station wagon.
Like others said, old school rim-out anything else than stock-in

Exactly.... SOME white letters look OK standing still, but they ALL look stupid on the road.
Your car looks GREAT with the blackwalls now. I focus on the car, not all that busy blather on the tires.......:D

For 14 or 15 inch wheels with taller profile tires, RWL out. For 16 inch or larger wheels that use lower profile tires, buy tires with no RWL.

It's the dogs you have to be concerned with.....they are trying to read what type of tire is on your car when they chase you :D

On most occasions, I like the white letters out on a car w/ Rally Wheels. If it's a COPO look a like then definitely blackwalls out. Most 2nd gens look better white letters out. Now on a 3rd gen I think white letters out looks like cr@p. But this is a first gen we are talking about here and I voted White Letters out so long as it's not a COPO look a like right down to the COPO hubcaps.

On first gen Camaros I definitely like white letters out. I say go by what the factory originally installed. If the factory put on white lettered tires (out of course) then put them out. If the factory put on plain black sidewalls originally then go that way. If the factory put on narrow white or red stripes then go with that. The one look I don't like is white letters in; just get non-white lettered tires rather than putting the white letters in.
