Took this the other day at a local car show and thought it'd be worth the time to start a topic about it...........

A sacrilege
Yes
But my guilt has over come me

I have to admitt, I have Ford in the Camaro..

The vac valve in the brake booster is out of a Aussie falcon.
It is identical to the Aussie HQ Holden (GM) which is identical to the Camaro

But it did come out of a ford.

You haven't heard about the new Forvrolet yet. It's new to the market.

Hey he wants it to run...he had no choice...:)

Yeah, I was standing next to two guys that were obviously Furd fans with the classic Ford advertisements on their T-shirts and ball caps. I walk up next to them and realize the SBC with a Ford emblem and tell my buddy that thats the only way to push around these old Fords and then we commenced to laugh about my smirky comment......then the guys that had the Ford shirts on were just amazed by what I had just said......they mumbled somthing as they walked away....both looking back at me. Honestly, I didn't intentionally intend to piss on their parade.....but at the time I didn't know they were on the other side (ford fans). Oh well......the car was nicely put together tho......and there were SEVERAL SBC between lots of Furd products there that day.

The same guy who owns that car owns a 69' camaro pace car, a 55' chevy blown with a 540 and, a 60 something road runner? with a 472 hemi and many other cars. I think he does his own valve covers which explains why it has the emblem, his wife's ford truck has the same deal, sbc with turd I mean ford emblem valve covers.

One of our buddies has a 33 ford with the typical 350/350 combo and he catches some hell sometimes. He always says, "Built ford tough with CHEVY stuff!".
Priceless!
