While on vacation a can of spraypaint exploded in my garage. Fortunatly I put the carcover on the Camaro, but the bikes weren't as lucky. The Kow took the worst hit, but the Harley got it too. I don't know for sure how to remove the paint without damaging the finishes of the bikes. Any ideas?? The paint is a Duplicolor Engine Enamal ceramic. Help, Kevin

OOoohhhh That is NOT cool....kinda funny though...

Try contacting the duplicolor help line. They may be able to recommend a remover that will work. The Enamel should come off fairly easy with a chemical remover such as isopropyl alcohol. I'd try that first as the automotive finishing products used by the Manufacturers of the bikes that you were listing, should be resistant to that... If that doesn't work, check out your homeowners policy!

Ouch, ouch, ouch ouch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have about 40 cans above my Camaro. Guess I might rethink that.
Darn. I think this should be in the Dangerous Automotive Stuff !!!!!!!!!! LOL
This is the kind of thing that I hope ONLY happens to YOU.
That would definitely ruin your day.

when my kid sprayed painted his bike he got paint all over my 08 cobalt. i took brake clean with a rag and got it all off. than washed car and put wax on car and buffed it. came out fine. longer it sits on it harder it comes off. also dont let bikes sit in sun it will bake it into paint.harder to get off or remove at all. hope fully it didnt penetrate the clear coat

PS. If it's chrome or bare aluminum parts, then use the lacquer thinner; it will be faster cleaning of the bomb paint, but on painted parts, use the mineral spirits. PS. I think you should take this approach, as opposed to getting an estimate/quote for repainting. Your bikes are worht more wiht the factory paint on them than a 'repaint' (unless you've been wanting a custom paint job anyway??) :)
