I'm really suprised that no one on this site seems to be a big full syn oil fan. Why is that?? I was just reading the "flat cam" link. I realize that it's not used for break-in, but what about after that. I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have a 460 BBC with about 500 miles on the Rotella I put in after the initial Rotella + GM EOS I used to break the cam in. I was thinking about going full syn this spring. Should I or not?? If no....then why?? Thanks guys!

Amsoil now developed a very high quality oil filter with nano-fiber technology that now keeps the filter working for one full year, so no more 6 month filter changes. I just keep an eye on the oil level and its looking quite clean after 9 months now too :thumbsup:

Yours too.
Too much zinc in an oil can cause problems. It's not a situation of if some is good, more is better.
