I looked at a 69 camaro awhile back while searching for a nos quarter for my barnfind Z28. This one will be for sale in the late spring. What value would it have in todays market??
1969 RS-SS 4 speed airconditioning, Deluxe interior, floor console with gauges, tach, clock,Rosewood, AM FM 8 track,vinyl top, SS hood, Insulation under hood, Rallies with caps, Paint and hocky stripes in great shape. Build sheet and protect o plate.Very clean. Ideas??DENNIS

Sweet car. The answer to the following questions will help determine the value. Is it an original RS/SS 396 car? Do the numbers match? Is the sheet metal original? Depending on the answers to those questions, the car is worth between 25K and 45K.

He said he bought it this way 20 some years ago. He says its all original . But is unsure of the engine because he didn't see the vin on it. He looked up the cast # and it says its a 1969 396. He was thinking maybe it was a factory replacement. I wonder if he knows where the vin really is. Said the car was driven maybe 40 miles in the last 5 years. Selling because he doesn't enjoy it any more. Has many other toys.

nice car..

looks like a 1968 walnut wheel......

Low 30's. Maybe.. I'm just trying to come up some cash for my Z. I couldn't keep it and the Z. One would have to go. I like the Idea that its a driver.Just get in and drive. But I also like the Idea of having a # matching Z. To be honest, I would buy it if I could make a profit selling it. This might make some mad, but,Do what I gota do.

Dennis, what you do with your property is your own business. And if you flip cars, thats your own business as well. Only thing that would make me mad about the whole deal is that i didnt find the car first.
So yeah, i'm mad as hell at you for finding that Z, and a RS-SS with lots of options. When you fall in crap, do you come out smelling like roses?

just pullin yer chain.

You hit the nail on the head. But what do you think would be an "excelent" price to buy it? ----30K ???

That would be a very good price, especially if you find out it has it's original engine. At the end of the day, you could not build it for that price and it's packed with options.

$30K would be a decent buy from what I see and it has paperwork. I would jump on it.

8 track? Never seen one that didn't look like this in a 69.

Washer pump for RS should look like this;

The RS headlight washers can be seen above the headlight doors. (two on each side) I didn't see any on the red car.

Are there RS backup lights below the bumper?
